Pad Project 2019-2020
This year, the girls club will be providing 150 pads to high school girls of Shree Kalika Secondary School in Nepal and Buddhist nuns in Nubri Valley. The Pad Project was established in 2017 after members of the Girls Club recognized the high demand for sanitary menstrual products for women in remote villages of Nepal. In the last two years, we have delivered over 300 pads to the girls at Shree Kalika Secondary School. The Girls Club members have been working together to create pad maintenance guides and questionnaires for direct feedback to improve this program.
Family Festival 2019

Place: International School of the Sacred Heart Cafeteria (B1)
The Girls Club will be setting up a booth at the International School of the Sacred Heart’s annual Family Festival. During this event, we will be selling original stickers made by our club members, as well as customizable tote bags to sponsor a package of pads to raise funds and awareness for the pad project. At the booth, our members will be happy to talk to you about our club’s goals and achievements. We hope to see you there!
